The Graham’s 1970 is one of the most iconic wines of the 20th century, defined by its exceptional balance and structure.
The Year
Generally declared, 1970 was a magnificent vintage which is now widely regarded as one of the best produced in the Douro.
Tasting
Known for its abundant rich and ripe berry flavours, good medium tannins and long finish. Excellent deep red garnet colour at the heart of the glass. On the nose a rich intensity of caramelised fruit and coffee. On the palate this wine is in perfect harmony, round, soft yet with ‘grip’ and great length.
Storage & Serving
Store the bottle lying down. Decant to filter the natural sediment before serving. Enjoy within 2-3 days of opening.
