The Year
A remarkable year that saw a deluge in the winter, a scorching spring, and an unsettled summer, which affected the ripening of some varieties.
Tasting
Lovely floral aromas of violets and rockrose with pleasing notes of blackberry and mint. On the palate, black fruits and liquorice come to the fore with underlying polished tannins. Remarkable freshness is provided by the acidity of the Sousão, which helps balance the wine wonderfully.
Storage & Serving
Store the bottle lying down. Decant to filter the natural sediment before serving. Enjoy within 2-3 days of opening.
